Just wondering how many there are? Can you all make a list for me and if you want go ahead and include any sub-species. How about where to find them too. For instance, Sititunga...where can they be hunted? I have ordered some field guides from Amazon but they won't get to my home for a while yet. Saw this on a ladies t-shirt... "Of course I don't look busy, I did it right the first time" Saeed, what do you make of that?

Eland-available all over southern and east Africa. Giant Eland-found in sub-saharan north Africa. One of the great game animals of Africa! Greater Kudu-all over the place! Nyala-RSA, parts of Mozambique and southeastern Zimbabwe. Sitatunga-aquatic antelope found in swampy areas of Botswana, Zambia, western Tanzania, and a few other places. Rather scarce. Lesser Kudu-northern Tanzania, Kenya (not open to hunting), southern Ethiopia and a few other spots in east Africa. A relatively dificult trophy to bag these days. Bushbuck-one subspecies or another all over sub-saharan Africa, but of course, I've never been able to bag one. I'm operating from memory, but I think thats all of them, excluding all the various subspecies. Hope this helps.

Oops, left out the Bongo of the rain forests of CAR, Sudan and a few other countries up that way. Another great game animal.

I must really be losing it! Also left out the Mountain Nyala, available exclusively in the mountains of Ethiopia. Another (you guessed it) great game animal!

Don what about the Plain Bongo the is found in CAR it should be one third bigger than the western Bongo. And the RW also makes a difference between the Western Giant Eland and the Central Giant Eland. Well maybe we just shoul recornice that different people have different opinions regarding the spiral horned? Sincerely Mads
