I'm in.... but I'm not hunting with Russell twice in one year... folks will talk. I do think that the last method of selection was quite fair as Ann re-suggested.

My new .404 needs a christening!! But I'll tell you what I will bring my 4570 LEVER ACTION along as backup!

Because god knows we all need to read another 5 trillion posts on whether or not it makes it out of the gun case

Where do I send my money! It's burning a hole in my pocket!

I'm in if the winner gets to select the observer (ie from the AR membership who buys a ticket). If it is picked from the barrel you never know WHO you get!

I would suggest the winner do the selection. But, Roger is running this one.

It sure would be convenient and fast if we could pay with a Paypal account!

Just a thought!

Thanks, Ann, for handling this.

That is awsome! Thanks Ann!

How soon can we send our entry fee in? My wife told me if I win she'll buy me a double to take on the hunt. Oh please pick me!! I REALLY want to kill my first buff with my first double!

Im in! After Ive won well have to change the airport to Helsinki, Finland but that shouldnt be a problem.

Get packed boha, youll be my cameraman!

Roger,

Now we are going in the right direction, I suggest we get prices posted, both for the complete hunt and the cost of tickets.

I think John has a very good point here. And I presume that the equivalent airfare funds for two from Atlanta, can be used for us "foreigners" from our local airposts in Europe, South America, Australia etc.?

I'm in also. I would also prefer to pick my companion from AR raffle participants; part of the joy of hunting is sharing the experience with someone you "know."

Ann, thank you so much for volunteering your time.

I am still waiting for prices to come in. They are pretty much the last detail holding things up. Once they are in we can figure out how many entries we need to sell to make it a go. Please be patient!

Ann,

I will be happy to help in this direction, as I do have a copy of George Leonard Herter's classic: HOW TO HUNT AFRICA FOR $692
