I have been in the Alaska bush for two months working out of communication, and when I got a short vacation back to the real world, I just found out that my wife booked a 14 Day Touring Safari in Tanzania with Thomson Safaris to go on a photo safari with the University she works for.

Lets just say the stuff hit the fan since I was not invited... Mad

I know it will cool for her (except that its in January).

Does anyone know anything about the company or anyone booked a touring safari with them? It was all through the University so everything is prearranged, but wanted to know if anyone knew of the company or booked with them before.

Here is the link to there site.

Thanks in advance, and hope all has been going well with you guys/gals.

I dont know anything about them but will ask around. Now since she is going wthout your approval it is time to consider doing the same. Find yourself a good African outfitter, Tanzania if you want and go hunting. I gurantee you will have a great time and can outspend her on several levels if Diana smiles on you. Just my opinion but besides having a great time you just might make a point as well.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.

Thanks guys for some PM's and info on the company. It looks like she should have a great time.

Brett, I didn't ask her if I could buy a Kriegoff in .500 Nitro, so I feel this could be payback.

Also I am fishing for a month in New Zealand in January......
