... I have several synthetic stocked big bores, but they all have irons on them! One even has decals on the butstock!

Mac, you are one open minded guy, and I thought you were a fuddy-duddy! Well, EXCUSE ME!!!

Hell, Ray calls me a HIPPIE because I have a couple double rifles with QD scopes on them! He said anyone who put a scope on a double rifle should be gill-flerted, and drawn and quartered!

Mac,
No I didn't, I said gilflurted and stringhaultered, and besides you kant spel!

Deer Hunter and all,
The sure nuff truth is I gave Jim Brockman a fine piece of Turkish that I bought from Jack Belk...He sent it to be turned on the CNC machine and it had a 8 inch hole running length wise inside the wood, but nothing showed from the outside, Bill Dowtin said it could have been caused by the wood growing over an obsticle or something...what a heart breaker....

At any rate I told stopped production of that wood and requested he turn a laminate as thats what he had on hand, and I like it well enough and its ready for my trip in two weeks from today....

It will have a Turkish, French or Aussie walnut handle before we see the next spring, if I don't get to too deep into my team roping with my grandson this winter, I have been doing that for the last couple of weeks and am looking for the right horse for myself, so some guns may go down the road...Its happened before..
