I posted on the Taxidermy forum with no response. Has anyone made a leopard into a rug or a throw for furniture? If so I would really like to see some pictures.

Holy Kow, Arguably one of the most impressive trophies in the world and you want a rug/throw?

Can I ask why you wouldnt want to do a lifesize?

Check out the Trophy Rooms forum pg.6 Trophies in my Home. I have a pretty good pic of my leopard rug there. I think it looks very good, takes up very little space and is much less expensive than a lifesize. I also have 2 lifesize leopard mounts but I don't like them any better than the rug.

I shot so many really nice trophies the last trip that I am running out of room in the house. My wife finally left me and I have more room now than ever but it is filling up rapidly with all kinds of stuff.

Mark although your Leopard rugs do look nice there is nothing like a full mount, and there are so many poses possible they can fit almost any space or situation.

No response because we are all sick at the thought. Frowner Yes , I have made them into rug mounts, but they should ALL be done Life size.

How about doing all the other stuff from your hunt into rugs and skull mounts?

I don't have a single shoulder mount of an African Animal in my house. All are European mounts or skins. I am having my Roan and Sable made into pedestal mounts as I think they are very special. The Leopard is special also and probably be made into a full mount as you all have suggested.
