Human skull found in lion camp
19/11/2006 14:36 - (SA)

Johannesburg - A human skull, torn grey denim trousers and a blue and red hat have been found in a lion camp on a farm near Kroonstad, Free State police said on Sunday.

Superintendent William Mokwena said farm owner, Dennis Staat, found the skull and clothes on Saturday while he was busy relocating lions.

"The camp in which the lions were, has an electrified fence and at this stage it was not known how the person got into the camp," Mokwena said.

There were four lions in the camp.

As only the skull was found it was not clear whether the person was a man or a woman.

An inquest docket has been opened

Sounds like a case of CANNED HUNTING gone wrong! Seems the can was too small, and the lions ate the so-called hunter's rifle as well!

DARWIN AWARD, unless someone through him in the pen!
