Mufasa,

I saw where you said earlier that you are splitting time between Lake Natron and Kizigo. If that's still the plan, be sure to come home with a lesser kudu and roan as well.

Best of luck to you and have a safe trip.

I posted that I was going to Tanzania with TGT to hunt lion and buffalo. I have read a number of posts regarding the quality of lions and the criteria for selecting shootable lions. I will post on my return all I can learn about TGT's selection of lions and hopefully a photo to show a quality lion. Good luck until my return. Mufasa

Mufasa,
Best of luck and have a great hunt! You are hunting some of the most incredible game country in the world. Enjoy the adventure and sights, sounds and culture of East Africa and the rest will fall into place. Hope you get your lion.

mufasa,

I may have told you before but I hunted Muhesi/Kisigo last year as well as Natron. As Forrest said make sure to try for roan and sable which are abundant in Muhesi/Kisigo. Natron is hard hunting but the trophy quality is incredible. Lesser kudu, gerenuk, and Grant's gazelle can be huge there. You also must take a couple of days on Mount Galli while at Natron. The mountain rises 10,000 feet to a rain forest with buffalo and bushbuck. It is such a contrast to the burning plains of Masailand.

Best of luck with the lion. I failed on the lion but one thing you can be sure of is if you get your lion with TGTS it will be a beaut.

Good Hunting,

Mark
