Well, I missed the Dallas show this year, but will make Houston, probably on Saturday. Who all plans to get there. Last year we had quite a few posters, mostly congregating around Greg Rodriguez's booth. I won't be booking a trip this year, but can share lies about last years hunt in Namibia. Bob

Bob, count me in!

I missed Dallas this year as well...work schedule botched that one for me, but I ain't gonna miss them both!

I'll likely spend a good bit of time around the Sporting International Booth with Tommy Morrison yacking about Jack Russell terriers, and catching up on Zim news with Mark Butcher of Matupula Hunters.

I'll be the down-at-the-heels looking cowboy with the most wore-out cowboy hat and a salt-and-cayenne mustache and beard!

The Zimbabwe Rodeo Team & Boys Choir rides again!

Lookin' forward to meeting some of you and putting faces to the names...

Mark Price

I am planning on being there Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to ordering a new pair of boots, getting a video or two, a knife, and hanging around the Balla Balla Safaris booth. Should be a great event.

Hi Bwanahile

Pass on my regards to Dene & Joanne at the Balla-Balla Safaris booth # 508.

Our PH Dene is a hunter not a Cyber JUNKIE like most of us are, so just mention to him in laymens terms that you guys know me Peter Bird from the world of Cyberspace on the AR Forums.

To ALL guests,

If you have some free time please consider a visit with my nephew Dene Bird & his PH girlfriend Joanne whom will be at our booth. Take the ladies/wives along with you as well as they MIGHT find it intereasting to talk direct with a lady PH.

If anyone is (marketing/selling) AR caps at the show please tell Dene to find some spare change and BUY me one.

Have a wonderful show, take care

If you haven't made up your mind just read some of the Dallas threads. It was really super for my first visit and I learned more than I can digest yet. It is a must do if you have thoughts of Hunting at any level.
I did get by to visit with Dene and made the mistake of not knowing that Joanne was a PH. What a great couple. We talked a bit about Africa and life there and I made sure he knew his name was often brought up on the AR forums. And always in a favorable and respected way. I have his information but haven't had time to study it yet. All in all I really enjoyed them as people to be around which I believe is a very important part of selecting an African guide.
Meeting and visiting with Ray and Pierre was a genuine pleasure and just talking and listening to the "African Buzz" was a thrill. All in all very worth while.
