I was poking around the Legendary Adventures website looking at hunts I can't afford and I noticed that Natie & Wayne are collaborating on a shot guide for rifle hunters. Does anyone know when this project is due to be completed and and where it will be available?

There are already two such guides out, "The Perfect Shot: Mini Guide" from Safari Press, and the other, "The Shot Placement Guide" from African Hunter magazine.

According to the bio on Wayne Hendry on the Legendary Adventures website, the book on shot placement, as well as a book that will be an illustrated guide for bowhunters, will both be available this year.

I have a copy of Robertsons The Perfect Shot and I like the text quite a bit. There is however, always room on my book shelf for another shot placement type book especially if authored by experienced Professionals Hunters.

Both of these guys bios have noted the upcoming text well back through 2004. I was hoping it was close to making it out to the public.

Maybe I should try to contact Natie or Wayne directly...?

Their book had been accepted by a publisher when they wrote those statements on their bio's. The publisher has since backed-out and they are looking at alternatives. It might still be a while before it actually hits the shelf!
