N'gagi posted an Artist previously, which reminded me of a man I found on Ebay one night. When I first saw his African paintings listed, I thought they were photo's. That is until I visited his web site and made contact via email. His subject matter is varied, but his African game paintings are great, and are very affordable. He lives in Australia and accepts commission work. However, he does not post private paintings of Hunters with game out of respect for their privacy. If you wonder if he can paint people, click on his Western art. Questions will be answered. Visit Yourartist.com to view his work or look up savanaman on Ebay. LDK

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

BuckshotazThis guy is good. I am looking into buying some of his work.
Speaking of African art, my wife just bought me a big painting of a large Elephant cow, with her calf, and it is now over my fireplace mantel, that is loaded with carved, and cast Elephant collection! I can send it to someone who is on AOL, by E-mail if they will post it here for me! This is a large 43"X35 1/2" painting that is as well done as any I've seen at the safari shows, that sell for thousands more than my wife paid! Of course my wife won't say what she paid, but I know shee cant aford the 15K, or 20K price I see on some that are no better, and some not as good!

I love any art that has to do with Africa, does this guy have a website?

BwanamichOne of my favorite African wildlife artist and sculpturer is Michael Ghaui. His website is
www.mag-wildlife-art.combut you need to log in to view his work.
A taste of some of his work i have can be found here
www.snowgoosegallery.com/mpartis/ghamic.htmHe recently focuses on bronze sculptures and a bit of Sterling silver. He isn't cheap but superb craftsmanship IMO.
