Steve,
I just got an e-mail pointing out this insanity. See the Top Story. Sometimes I despair of the reasoning ability of those who lead in politics in Africa. Hopefully the idea will get lost, as most of these things do, in Africa.

HELL, I don't like the look of that..... I wonder if it's anything to do with a letter I had from the Botswana Game Dept last week. They told me they were considering extending the hunting season to year round and abolishing the trophy fee and quota system and replacing it with just a small flat fee per day. - It it happens, it's mean a Buff for around US$50. guess they want to get the revenue in before the ban......

Is this a water buffalo, it doesn't look like a cape buffalo?

It might be a cow I guess?

It's a water buffalo taken in Australia, and this is probably Steve's attempt at an April Fool's joke.

Does this water buffalo "bull" still have its balls though? Wink

(Ozhunter, Oops, I may be thinking of a different one then.)

Kyler,

Now what's the recoil on that compared to the 416 Rigby!?!?!?!?

If I had to load a calibre like in the dark, I'd end up one day dropping my flask of cofffee into the chamber instead of the round!!
