Yeah, that video is as old as Moses. Notice the high fence in the background. Had that been a wild lion, the hunter would be as dead as canned lobster.

I appreciate your view on canned hunting, but how is a wild lion more dangerous than a tame one when it comes for you?

A wild lion makes it living by killing things. A canned hunt lion is used to getting it's food out of a bowl and has no idea how to kill.

You've made 5,240 posts and never seen this? I'm surprised.

I will say one thing it has an amazing life. Friday night someone brought it up at dinner. Today there are two seperate discussions posted on this thread alone. What a waste of bandwidth.

I too have no desire to hunt a pen raised lion and in fact am trying to book a 'wild lion' hunt now. Not to be argumentative because I am no authority, but I have had more than one PH tell me the pen raised lions are more dangerous than a true wild lion. They claim they have lost their fear of man due to daily contact, whereas a wild lion will most often flee when a man is sighted. I believe I read on AR several weeks ago about some pen raised lions escaping and killing and/or mauling three people.

No I had not seen it. Sorry to offend you so much Kensco. At least those new members that joined since Moses was around can see it again.

I found the video quite exciting myself.

Makes me want to hurl every time I see it. I know how it's going to end but I keep hoping the lion will win.

You seem to go on the defensive very easily. I simply said I was surprised. Now you've offended me. Grow up.
