I've read the postings on AR for some time now and finally have become a member.

I'm planning a hunt to Namibia in July 06 and my frequent flier miles, unfortunetely, bring me thru London. All they could get for me. I fly into Heathrow on Virgin Atlantic then out of Gatwick on Air Namibia later in the day. My return is easier as I fly direct into Gatwick then on to states.

Someone said I may need a courier for the transfer as I will have my own firearms. Anyone ever used one or know a contact? Experience?

I'm checking with airlines for thier procedures but so far no one knows but I'll find the right person. In the mean time I thought I'd ask here. Thanks for any advice.

You will need a courier for the airport change.

These guys did a good job for me last year and are less expensive than Ron. Westley Richards works with them quite a bit. PDQ Frieght Ltd colin@pdq.uk.com. You absolutely do need a courier to handle your guns between Heathrow and Gatwick. One adavantage is you actually see your guns get checked on to the correct flight.
