So a person who leans towards the side of anti-hunting goes on a photo-safari with the king and queen of anti-hunting then makes an analysis on the challenge of lion hunting based upon the human-acclimated lions he sees in a park. Big surprise he thinks it's easy, he might as well have gone to the San Diego zoo looking for lions. I have spent endless hours of time trying to enlighten anti hunters and combating the end of hunting , my conclusion is they are like a never ending army of misinformed foot soldiers , we will never win this war , ever ! The anti hunting industry ( and it is an industry) is better financed , more committed , better connected to media and TV than hunters will ever be. Until SCI , DSC and every other hunting club turns it's focus on educating the misinformed the anti hunting industry will continue to close hunting by misinformation, everyday hunters simply avoid engaging the misinformed on the Internet to the eventual demise of hunting. What everybody seems to be missing is that the anti hunter evangelists like the Jouberts have turned this into a huge money spinner , if you look at their vehicles ,equipment and then compare it to 10 years ago , you will then comprehend the cash cow being an anti hunter is. It will not be long before most of africa will close to hunting, simply because we just did not do enough to educate the billions of peoplenwho know nothing about hunting but have been misled by anti hunters. | |||

100% Graeme. PHASA has with the help of DSC an SCI BEGUN a huge undertaking of trying to do just this. They appealed to all members to get involved and gave out a whole lot of info on how we can get involved in social media. According to a survey only 9% are totally against hunting the rest are a swing vote or hunt. So education is a large part of the solution , but how ?? Gentlemen, sadly this outlines precisely the kind of individuals we are dealing with on a daily basis - sheer morons. I stated to an anti-hunter today that a PH must be a multi-tasking, multi skilled person who could probably run a country, to which she replied she would rather live in a country full of corrupt politicians than a bunch of loathe some killers. I stated further we would more than likely have the wealthiest wildlife resources in the world..........the debate ended there !! They are blind to the facts !! | |||
