How many of you have already hunted in Tanzania 07 and where charged with the NEW Trophy Fees. Would be interesting how different Outfitter handle this Issue.

my company owner, Don Bower/ Dingwall Safaris, kept the "old" rates for all his 2007 buffalo & PG animals. Gave a short notice 21 day lis. the old rates and contacted the remaining cat & elephant hunters of new rate increases on their safaris.
They are a stand up company.

While different outfitters are handling this crisis in different ways with their clients, ALL of them are being invoiced by the Game Dpt using the NEW game fees.

The moment a "used" hunting permit is returned to the Game dpt after its expiry date (there is a 21 day deadline to return expired licenses)the Game Dpt raises an Invoice for Game fees based on the NEW rates. Then they start chasing you (outfitter) for payment.....
