I want to thank Ray Atkinson and Nickudu for posting Mr. Heston's thoughts on our heritage as free-thinking Americans and how political correctness has gotten out of hand.

Someone was good enough to post Heston's speeches, not too far back and a good thread got going before I saw it. I read all the responses and thought Ray's was just wonderful, so I've used it as introduction here. Heston's stature was a blessing for hunter/shooters and his replacement will have some mighty big shoes to fill.
