South Africa's Nationwide airline grounded Johannesburg - South African airline Nationwide suspended all flights Friday on orders from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), an airline spokeswoman told a local radio station. The CAA provided no "solid reason" for the grounding, according to Nationwide official Charmaine Thome. In November, a Nationwide Boeing 737-200 dropped one of its two engines during take-off from Cape Town airport. The plane, with 106 passengers aboard, managed to land safely half an hour later.
