There's nothing like a best quality English sporting rifle.

Original Kynoch factory loads pushed a 250 grain 0.333" diameter bullet at 2,400 fps or a 300 grainer at 2,150 fps. These velocities could probably be safely bettered with modern powders.

And Woodleigh still makes softs and solids.

But at US$8,000 . . . I'll reluctantly stick with my .338 Winchester Magnum.
