Hi Saeed,

Great reporting on the opening post of this thread:

http://www.accuratereloading.com/2013/hr20141.html
tu2

I think you need a medical doctor like me for your next outing.
If Walter drops dead I will defibrillate him with an AED which I shall bring along, and breathe life into him while waiting for air-evac to a Coronary Care Unit.

When I accompanied you in 2010 I was 2 months post major surgery for ailment unspecified.
I am now fit as a fiddle, virile, vigorous, and potent.
Don't even need Viagra anymore.

My best time in the 2-mile run was 9 minutes and 25 seconds when I was age 18.
My first marathon time at age 23 was 2 hours 48 minutes and 46 seconds for 26 miles 385 yards,
after only 3 months of training during my first year of medical school: University of Kentucky, Kentucky Relays 1978.
I am now 10 pounds lighter than I was in 2010, and doing my roadwork, aiming for marathon weight.

I will bring a ".375/404 Jeffery Saeed of 2012" on my next African safari.
I will keep my fork in the left hand and knife in the right hand at table, Queen's rules.
I will say "aluminium" instead of "aluminum" so as not to offend.
I will pay my own way, and demand that the PH not get lazy on my second buffalo, telling me to shoot him at 150 yards if he stops when passing through a clearing!!!

Second point of note - Walters breakfast also had his pill box in front. I pray he keeps good health.

All bullets were recovered from buffalo, eland and wildebeest.

Walter has had heart condition for many years. He takes quite a few tablets on a daily basis.

Some he calls "anti-Saeed" tablets!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I was going through all the photos we have taken.

Everyone had the same pocket camera, and they all have files with the same name.

So instead of spending literally hours sorting them, I have decided to go through each person's photos, and post those I think might be of interest to you.

What this means is that we are going to have many photos that look like duplicates - taken of the same event by two people - but I hope you will enjoy them non the less.

No problem Saeed. There will be something different with each photo. Post as many as you can about your sidekick Walter. His antics lowers all of our blood pressure, except yours and Roy's! rotflmo

As those who have hunted in the Selous will remember, the tse tse flies can be such nusance at times - especially as the sun goes down.

They are also easier to catch at that time, for what reason I have no idea.

So we thought of running a very scientific test on those that we caught - several hundreds throughout the safari.

It is to determine if they were either democrats or republicans!

The test entails holding the fly with both hands, and pulling the wings apart.

It seems over 90% are democrats, as they loose the left wing first.

May be that is why they are such a nusance clap

I am in the process of putting the video together.

It might take a bit of time to finish - I have done about 8 hours so far.

And as we usually do, any AR member is welcome to request a free copy.

So those of you who have enjoyed our videos in the past, and those who are new on AR, you are all welcome to a copy.

Please send me your complete mailing address, in a PM.

No email requests will be accepted, as I get quite a few people who are not members of AR requesting copies by email.

I will ignore any request by email.

And just a reminder that our videos are pure, raw, African safari.

There is no commentary, there is no adverts, there is no play acting or Hollywood grandstanding.

What you see is what we saw, what you hear is what we heard, and that is the way we like to keep it.

I am not sure of how many hours the final film is going to be.

I will let you know once it is finished.

We have taken quite a lot footage of gutting, skinning and loading the animals.

I have had some requests last year for those, and I will try to include some as well.

I hope you all enjoy it.

We have some GoPro clips of we got off vultures and crocs feeding, as well as some lions that took exception to the camera, so they decided to pull down off the tree, and proceed to eat it!!

It wasn't to their taste, so we managed to recover it.

The footage is quite interesting.

Giving up on DVDs has been a great help.

We would not have been able to offer all the footage on DVD if that was the case, as it would entail making so many of them.

Thew time required for copying, labeling and packing is enormous.

Now with better quality - all footage is in 1080P FULL HD, and much easier to produce.

Another lot is going out today.

Had a friend visiting from Kenya here yesterday, and we invited other friends to join us for dinner and watch some of the safari video.

Fascinating questions from the none hunters!

None hunter, looking at a dead hippo being skinned. "did you shoot it?"

Someone answered "no they hypnotized him first"

"Oh! Do you have to do that so it does not get hurt by the bullet?"

"Yes, it is the new hunting regulations. They even have a vet to make sure the animals do not suffer"

A few minutes later, watching two buffalo bulls being shot.

None hunter "Why did you shoot it before the vet puts it to sleep?"

Someone answered "the vet got in Walter's way and got accidentally shot"

"OH MY GOD! Is he going to be alright"

"He is fine. He will never feel pain again!"

"What happened?"

"HE IS DEAD"

"OH MY GOD"

"Now, can you just shut up and let us enjoy the films!"

"Oh sorry, I was just asking questions because I don't know much about hunting"

"You should ask Saeed to take you on one of his hunts"

"OH NO! I am not going with HIM! I won't be coming back! Him and Walter will do something nasty to me"

"Yeah, and do us all a favor too"
