Heart Attack !
Been through this twice ALF. Your life and views will change, and a lot of it will be for the good. You may be surprised at the world and how you approach it now.

Good luck!

ALLEN W. JOHNSON - DRSS

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

Only a true diehard would post on AR after having a heart attack and before going on the chopper to the hospital.

God bless you, ALF! Hope everything works out for you.

You'll be fine ALF,
Post a picture from your angiogram showing your stents when they get done.
I have samples of Plavix, Lipitor, Altace and Toprol XL for you.
Since you were still typing, I'm guessing you had an inferior wall AMI.
That is a pretty talented group up in Vancouver. They'll get you whipped into shape in no time. If you need anything, let me know. I can get it FedExed up to you in a day.

Alf,

I hope everything comes out OK -- and the only thing you walk away with is a little warning. HEED that. I have heard too many folks warned that heavy recoiling firearms may be verboten after a significant cardiac event.

My thoughts have been with you, and remain. Please keep us up to date!!
