HARARE, Zimbabwe (AP) -- Police continued demolishing thousands of shacks and vendors' kiosks in opposition strongholds Monday, burning a 10-kilometer (six-mile) long line of curio stalls along the road near Victoria Falls.

I can understand that Zimbabweans are subdued and frustrated.
But what I wonder about is the complacency and lack of initiative of Rhodesians ;-(.

Well, when you are less than 2% of the population it is hard to have much power.
