Hi

We've been offered a late change due to typical African circumstances to Nuanetsi and I would be keen for any info on game numbers, especially Buffalo & Leopard from any of the members on here that have 1st hand info on the place. My homework so far makes this look like a downgrade from our original plan.

Sorry for being cryptic, but I would prefer to not name the outfitter at this point in time.

Nuanetsi has been restocked with game over the past few years with limited to no hunting pressure during that time. Should be great for Leopard and game like Eland. Also quite a big restock of buffalo.
Should be a good choice.
Oh, and its quite flat country.

I hunted Nuanetsi the last 10 days in June. Andy Hunter was my PH. This was my first time in the concession. Took a buff that was just over 42 inches and a nyala a hair under 30 inches. Also shot wildebeest, civet, 2 super warthogs, and a zebra. Buffalo hunting was tough in the thick brush. The buffalo were wild. It gets real tough if the wind doesn't cooperate. The zebra liked to run with the dugga boys and complicated tracking. Brent has done a fantastic job with lots of game evident. A large no hunting zone makes coming back to camp a lot of fun. Great game viewing. Andy and I had a fantastic time. 2 leopards were shot by both other hunters in camp. Lots of big leopard tracks were noted. Anthony the camp manager will make sure your stay is enjoyable. Good luck.

Hi Buzz

We were booked to hunt the Save valley, but the move to Nuanetsi was definitely for the best and I'd love to get back there someday soon.

LB, I'd love to see a hunt report and some photos of your trip to Nuanetsi.

Here is my report from last year: http://forums.accuratereloadin...761075771#7761075771

HendrikNZ,

I had 3 clients transferred to Nuanetsi for the same reason as you but last season. They had a truly fabulous safari even better than I would have anticipated for them. The trophy quality is just excellent there.
