I just returned from a Zambia Buffallo hunt that conclueded on August 1 St. Without going into indepth details, at this point, at the conclusion of our hunt my partner and I were informed that Zambia was no longer issuing permits for 10 day buffallo hunts. Can anyone tell me exactly when the change went into effect?

There is another post by an agent that mentions it but does not give the date. It is titled "Mugabe Opens Season".

We will be calling Laura Du Plooy tomorrow in Zambia. I'll report what we find out about permits for 10 day buff hunts.

I posted an explanation from Laura Du Plooy in a post titled RE: 10 DAY HUNTS LICENSES/PERMITS IN ZAMBIA. There is no problem and 10 day hunts are being offered as usual.
