Hi Guys
I know a lot of you get to pet "tame lions" whilst on safari. But here is just a little reality check. These animals are only tame to a point, so keep your families safe.

Are you two related by any chance.
Thanks for putting a side splitting grin on my face.
Between Journalists and Naki there is enough to give most any lion or leopard a bit of food poisoning.

I don't blame Naki at all. The problem with Africa's problems has always been that every bugger thinks they know all the answers to them but the truth is, you have to live or have lived in Africa to understand it all properly.

Everything in Africa is like peeling an onion. There's always layer after layer after layer and it always brings tears to your eyes.

And all those do gooding tossers make it a million times worse....... and if you think it's bad in southern Africa, you should see what a pig f**k they've made of it in east Africa. Roll Eyes

I honestly reckon I could write a comedy book about it! Wink

I once submitted a research proposal for funding to the Seirra Club. It involved the feeding habits of Hyenas. I asked for 10 volunteers to assist and the idiots got all the way to the grant stage before they figured out I was jerking their chain.

When will people learn that there is no such thing as a "Tame Lion!" Some just haven't learned how good you taste.

The lion is a young male and obviosly familiar with people. Imagine what a real wild lion in full attack mode could do!!!!

465 H&H, what are you talking about. Disney educated me very well about the animal kingdom. Things I learned from Disney:

Bears are cuddly and make great friends and rafts ...

All animals flock together to celebrate the birth of a new lion ...

Panthers can double as a horse ...

Lions are friendly and enjoy getting a nice perm, just like us ...

And, in the event a lion misbehaves, an old lady can easily defeat him with her purse.

... I'm not too surprised people try to pet lions. Roll Eyes
