Hi guys. I'm trying to squeeze a little more accuracy out of my AR and am looking for some opinions on what is the sturdiest and most stable collapsible stock out there.

Have tried the Rock River Operator's stock, the MagPul ACS stock and the LMT SOPMOD stock. All three provide a good platform for the cheek weld. The RRA stock wiggles just a little. The ACS is better, and the SOPMOD has no play at all. The storage cells in the RRA and ACS are more easily accessed than those in the SOPMOD. The RRA stock uses a commercial size receiver extension (buffer) tube. The other two use mil-spec tubes which are slightly smaller in diameter. All three extend longer than typical telescoping stocks if you need it. The SOPMOD goes longest of the three. The RRA is slightly less expensive than the Magpul ACS. Both of those list at some $70 less than the real SOPMOD. You kinda have to figure out how much you want to pay for firmness. SOPMOD is really solid and I like em. I have VLTOR as well and they are nice but not as solid. Magpul CRT is not the best for accuracy (cheek weld) but it does lock down solid. I went with PRS (non-collapse) on my rigs that are really target rifles.

I also have the Magpul CTR M4 stock. There is no movement or slack as with milspec collapable stock. Easy to put on, must verify if you have a commercial or milspec buffer tube for correct application. JB see picM4 stock http://i291.photobucket.com/al...k_photo/IMG_2947.jpg
