A friend across the U.S. e-mailed me that he had an
AR 51 built for him from milspec parts (?).

Googled "AR 51" but came up with nothing.

Will someome enlighten me, please, before I e-mail him back. Is there a possibility he transposed the numbers and it should be "AR 15" ?

But not the same as an AR-47.

I think the AR 51 is the civilian version of the M 61. Big Grin
