I just received two of the new Sig 556R's in 7.62x39. They seem to be a pretty nice rifle. The first thing I did was to remove the flash hider. Turns out it is threaded 5/8x24 so my Gemtech HVT suppressor goes right on. Finally an AK type rifle with good enough threads to reliably mount a suppressor.
