jeffeossogoing rate for commercial BCG? ar15-223
What's the going rate for a commercial BCG?
and should I care, as, in your opinion, the milsurp stuff is just fine?
just pondering, as I am going to put together rifles for my wife and SIL, and I want them to shoot better than a cheapo m4 copy. in fact, I want them to shoot well, but within reason.

Idaho Sharpshooterjeffe,
check
www.largrizszly.com. Their OPS-4 upper is really neat. They have gone to a side charger like the FAL. Right or left side, or ambidextrous. They run about $325 for an upper with a complete bolt and carrier group. The bolt carrier group is fitted to the upper. IMHO, for a woman it is much easier to operate. Run a scope, or Eotech, no comparison.
I have three, and a fourth ordered. I am switching everything over.

jeffeossoNeato concept. Not what I am at all interested in as I ain't buying into someone proprietary build note to a want a handle flying around like a woods master.
I ain't interested in" it only fits our stuff" for major components

SmokinJJeff,
You can get a pretty good idea of the average price from places like Midway, Brownells, Bravo, Rainer, ArmaLite, DPMS, Daniel Defense, etc.. They will all be in the "ballpark" price range.
