I'm looking at buying a light/mount combo from LaRue Tactical. I haven't kept up with the new lights and such.....

Depends upon your need. My duty AR has a Surefire M900A http://www.surefire.com/VerticalForegripWeaponLights

What I use on my home defense AR is much cheaper and still throws out a lot of light. Streamlight TLR (not the one with the laser). Mounts to the side rail and I can put it in a position so the toggle switch is easily manipulated with my support hand. For $100 it's hard to beat.

$760.00 for a light!

Worth every dime when you go in harms way!

Tax deductable too when you have to buy all your gear like me.
