I bought a very good condition 1908 Long rifle ,did they ever have a sniper version of it ? I looked online and the Mauser rifles of the World Book dont say anything about one ,this rifle has three holes drilled and tapped on the left side ,but the bolt has Not been bent down ,I dont think its a bubba modification ,or whether it had a specific side scope mount that allowed clip loaidn and a straight bolt ,thanks for any opinions cheers

you know these rifles cost like 20$ for about 50 years.
if someone didn't drill holes in it somewhere or grind something down on them they good ones wouldn't cost 600$

it's like the jeez I had that baseball cards.
those that kept them nice can thank everyone else's mom for throwing them away when they cost 4 for a nickel.
