How do they rate in quality compared to Colt, Bushmaster, DPMS, etc ? I don't have an AR but I want one especially before the Democratic Socialists ban them again.
I cant really speak to their quality, but I think you'd have to look long and hard to find a junk AR from a major producer these days. Stag has been a forerunner in bringing new ARs to market-probably more left hand versions than any other major manufacturer. As a matter of fact a 6.8 SPC variant was just reviewed in this months Guns and Ammo. For my money however, I can't do better that a Rock River. I've got a National Match A2 and after 2500 rounds or so have never experienced a failure of any kind and it continues to amaze me with MOA accuracy with nearly any load.
Praise be to the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.

I've got a left handed Stag M-4 and have had no problems with it. Fit and finish is good and it will shoot 1.5 to 1.75 inch 5 shot groups at 100 yards with hornady ammo. I'm only using a 1-4x scope so I might even be able to shoot it a little better with higher magnification. As nice an AR as you'll find in the price range.

Stag are VERY good products. All true mil-spec with good q.c. They are on par with Colt quality and better than RR, DPMS, and Bushmaster. I have (5), all working guns and have never had a problem.
