I have a chance to buy a Winny 1892. The stock is and has been cut along with the forearm. The metal is ok but not in great shape. It is the regular sporting model in 25-20. Far from good shape but what should I expect to pay. The screws look good except that there looks like 2 top screws on the tang that are missing. It is one of the early ones. Thanks

I would be more concerned with what the inside of the barrel looked like! Don't buy it for any price without shooting it first.
