Wound up in posession of a rifle the other day, nice little 243, but god help me I can't seem to find out any info on it. The only markings I can find label it as a Lauestahl #3, made in Austria. Is anyone here familiar with the brand and have any info regarding this model?

Laufstahl simply means "barrel steel". It's not a brand name.

Need a better descriiption.

That is what I came up with when I put it into a translator as well. If I get a chance I'll try and get some pics up.
