Hi, I have a chance to buy a group of guns that includes a Remington 1890 with 7 1/2 " barrel. It has little to no pitting with a generalized patina The barrel has a little pitting but good strong rifling. It has hard rubber grips in good shape and a lanyard ring. The only markings that I can find are Remington Arms co. Ilion N.Y. and 44 cfw. It does not look to be bubba'ed The only problem is that the hand will not rotate the cylinder unless the gun is pointing down so that gravity will bring the hand forward. I am a complete novice about collectible revolvers. Could some one give me price range that I could buy this gun with out losing money when I try to sell it. Of course there is always the possibility that it is a fake Thank you very much in advance for any help. If you own a gun and you are not a member of the NRA and other pro 2nd amendment organizations then YOU are part of the problem. | ||
