I found a guy who has 1 ea of the following: 12 Gauge Light 12 supposedly unfired 16 Gauge unfired (not a sweet 16) 20 Gauge unfired. All of these guns have no rib. All have the rounded knob handle. Whats a fair price for all 3? Thanks, Trigger

Hard to say. These are presumably "St. Louis" Belgian models, which makes them very desirable, especially in unfired condition. On the other hand, the plain barrels detract considerably. I'd say that an unfired but P.B. St. Louis A-5 should be worth at least $500 up, but how far up I don't know. Vent ribs would make them at least half-again as valuable. Also, the Sweet Sixteen and the Light 20 are more desirable than the standard guns.

Hi Stonecreek, To my knowledge, they're just plain Browning A-5's in mint condition. No gold triggers, ribs, matt, solid,or vent. Just very nice looking field grades, other than the light 12. My book which is a year old, shows the 20,and 16 at 495.00 and the 12 at 650. Just wondering if the demand out there drives the prices higher than the book lists. thanks, Trigger

Beauty and value belong to the admirer, Belg made are worth more than Jap made, however unfired raises the enny especially if the boxes and papperwork are in tack, if so they should be safe queens since these guns are no longer made and they are beloved shotguns which should be fairly good investments. I had one a long time ago which I sold, recently I picked up a lite 12 and mag twenty both in near minty condition both are jap guns since I hunt with them and wanted the choke tubes.
