A friend in the Czech Republic says Zbrojovka Brno has declared bankruptcy. Not the same as CZ.

That is a shame. I had one of their recent full stock 98's in 9.3x62 and the quality was the same as the CZ550's. I would have guessed that the same staff was working at both plants.

They have been supplying Franconia in Germany with their house 98's for years. It will be interesting to see what happens next. I put away two of the EAA imported actions for just such an emergency.

They will soon re-appear I suspect with a new and perhaps improved product, this normally happens shortly after bankruptcy.....
