I have an 1860 Colt Army revolver, serial no.10507, which indicates manufacture in 1861. It was found in Saskatchewan, Canada, just across from the Montana border. This is the area where Sitting Bull came after the Custer massacre. It was unearthed during road construction during the 1930's. I'm too cheap to pay the fee Colt wants for some history on this piece. Any ideas, anyone. When I got it five cylinders were still loaded and the powder still burned. | ||
