I just bought a new Ruger RSI (International) with a tang safety in 22-250, I haven't even heard of this firearm being chambered in this cartridge. The rifle is in pristine condition, and I got it for 400. Is this unusual or just a early offering?

I've never seen one in 22/250, but it is listed in the Gun Digest , 44th ed, 1990- M77RSI available in 22/250,250/3000,243,308,270 and 30/06

You paid abour half of what folks are asking on GA or GB. I gave a lot more than that for mine. They were made in 7-08, 308, 243, 250, and 7x57 to name a few. If you find one in 7x57, grab it.
