Back in the early 1960�s I bought an upper grade 12 GA double. The Dakin Gun Company, Kansas City Missouri, must have imported it. Made in Spain is stamped on the right barrel and the importer is stamped on the left. My brother bought the basic grade in 20 GA. I traded mine away but kept the other left to me by my brother. I have seen some cheap made in Spain doubles but these are not that kind. I would buy another if I could locate one. Can anyone tell me what happened to the Dakin importer? I have never found them again.

Importer come and go. Lion Country supply gets Nice spanish Ugartecheas and Grullas . AYA 's are good spanish SXS also. You can get a nice ugartechea new from Lion country for $1100 .$1200 and on up. Or shop around at gunbroker Ive seen Ugars and AYAs for $500-$600. these are very good Quality ones. There are some cheapo ones out there to. Thanks GSP7, I went to those web pages and what I paid $750 for in 1960 would cost me over $3,000 today. I guess I�m getting old because these things just shock the hell out of me. I wished I had never trade mine off now. I bought an AL-7 and love it but I just love a good side by side.
