I have a 1911 Commander .45 ACP with all original Colt parts but everything was assembled using a Caspian frame, I don't know what happened to the original frame. It was bead blasted and blued and also has an original Colt 38 Super Nickel plated top end that is in excellent condition and looks pretty cool as a two tone 38 Super. The gun shoots fine with either top end on it but I have no idea what it would be worth, any ideas?

It is worth much more as a shooter than a collector. My gues is $500 to $600 if you found someone who wanted it.
