I am curious as to the value of good used Winchester lever guns I recently purchased 2 mint M92 44WCF & 38WCF with 24" octagnal barrels and half magazine (Ser No. 491XX) for the equiv of $US260 and a 1925 vintage M94 32/40 full mag for $325. Since cowboy action came on, there is hardly any good guns for sale at gun shows or if for sale, they are very highly priced in the $US600-900 range. Is this a trend in USA and other countries? What original models or factory options (i.e takedowns)are desirable in your country?

BAW; I'd hate to say this but as you are in Austrailia, those nice old rifles aren't worth any more than the would be here in Canuckistan. With our anti gun laws it's only a matter of time until they are outlawed and valueless. But for now, nice score! derf
