Am far from research material and have examined a broomhandle Mauser with wood holster/stock numbered to the gun. Grateful for information on date of mfg and a short note on available of ammo or ease of reloading.

Pistol has no coloring except black on recessed areas of slab sides. Proofmarks include WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER
OBERNDORF NEKAR on right side; small Mauser logo on top of action ahead of chamber; under barrel at action are stacked capital letters: A, B and what looks like a possible eagle; at two points on action are stacked: crown, something indechiperable and capital U; what must be serial number is 88151 over a script small a.

Barrel is in good shape with no pits, no rust.

Any idea what I might pay for this would be much appreciated.

Best in the New Year, Tim Carney
