The Schwarzlose along with the Hino Komuro was one of only two successful blow forward pistol designs made, if I recall right. Your friend has a real treasure and this would be an extremely valuable piece. I have some old write ups on it back in India and could send them to your friend after I go back there if he is interested. It might take a little while, though. Do let me know.

We contacted an auction house in Munich, and the pistol will be sold at the next auction, providing the paperwork is swift. The people in Munich had never seen one with a matching stock, so the outcome will be interesting.
