I have a older remington model 700 bdl in 264 win mag. It has the blued marked stainless steel barrel. It has a beautiful stock like a c grade. I would say the gun is 90% just to be safe. Is this worth more than a regular bdl? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Charlie

At 90% it is not going to have any extra value. Its just a nice shooter in a caliber not too often seen these days.

Sure, any caliber that is somewhat uncommon will bring a premium over the same rifle in a common caliber. It is not in the "collector" class, but I'm quite sure that if you were to list it in the AR classified section that it would bring more money than the same gun in a .30-06 or 7mm Rem Mag. I'm not talking about the "hundreds of dollars" range, but rather the "hundred" of dollars range.

go to the remington web, figure out the code for yr ect then look it up in a blue book, a good shop that takes in used gus should have one check for throat erosion, shoul be easy to see. i had one in 7 mag that was really beat lots of erosion but still shot better than min of angle. i saw a nice one in 264 but the guy was already selling to a shop so i didnt get it If your gonna be dumb, you gotta be tuff.

i was just on the remington web and didnt seem to be as useful as a couple yrs ago there is 2 letters stamped on the bbl that is code for month an yr, a 23 1/2 in bbl was 1963 an 24in (measure from vent hole) was 64 an later i believe If your gonna be dumb, you gotta be tuff.
