Gents, This particular piece has been on the rack at a Gun room I frequently visit. The reciever is stamped :WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER-OBERNDORFFA/M. Serial number is 86334. What can you tell me about the 10.75 Belgium and is this a desirable rifle to the Oberndorf collectors? thanks. JOIN SCI!

Vemo the rifle looks very nice and if it floats your boat grab it http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.CFPage?appID=36&...id=1397&mode=viewGun I can't tell you much about the cartridge, there are about half a dozen 10.75 cartridges it could be chambered for so we need the cartridge length and weather it's rimmed or rimless , in any case best of luck finding loaded ammo for it. It's collectability is questionable as it has an aftermarket sight (where are the originals and has the reciever been altered ie drilled and tapped) and, basspro say it might be refinnished both of which are negatives in the collecting game. Cheers Pete It's mercy, compassion and forgiveness I lack; not rationality.

Hello Darwin, Thanks for your reply, I am impressed that you found this rifle! I'd be curious to discover your methods? We don't know the cartridge length, or its design. It has not been drilled and tapped. JOIN SCI!

That rifle has been on the Bass Pro website for some time. I originally thought it was a 10.75x68, but if it was someone would have scooped it up a long time ago.
