This is the second hammerless rook rifle I've owned. There seemed to be little, or no difference between my previous Westley Richards and present Dan'l Fraser. Who do you think built the actions, or guns for these makers? Thanks

Lowell,

As it is hammerless, if the proof marks are Birmingham, the Birmingham (or provincial) Gun Trade, if London Proof Marks, the London gun trade. They MAY have been made by the companies themselves.

Also, some of the cheaper Rook Rifles were made in Belgium.

What calibre is it ?

Started out as 250 rook, and now lined to 25-20. Somehow it has the look of a B'ham made gun, like the Westley.
