I obtained a fwt barreled action in 358 win. the barrel has been cut to 20 so collectability is not a BIG issue. I wolud like a Fwt stock to fit this rifle so I can hunt with it! Condition is not REAL important. Let me know what you may have......Thanks

I have a featherweight stock that is mint.It came off a pre 64 30-06 made in 1955.The fellow i got it from said the original owner had bought the rifle back in 55 and only hunted a couple times. The fellow i got from was the second owner and he says he only shot two boxs ammo and never hunted with rifle.Kept in safe all these years.I dont know what to believe myself but the stock my have been redone,i dont know,it just looks really good and is really smooth,I can send e-mail pics of it if you are interested and want to make a decent offer. It does have a recoild pad and the length of pull is 133/4 if i remember correctly.I does have the sling swivels and is in excellent conditon.

BlackBear,
Do you know if a 30-06 length Fwt stock will fit a 358 length action. As you can guess I am not a collector or M-70 Guru! I am interested if it fits. The action on my 358 dates it to 1955 the first year of production of the 358. I will do some research and get back to you. Thanks for getting back to me!!

It'll fit. All the pre-64 actions are the same length. IIRC the 300 and 375 H&H chamberings were the only ones that require a little different cut for the box.
