Looking for a nice one in original condition.

Anyone have a lead on one reasonably priced?

I have a friend with one in 30-30 that he got from his grandmother. What kind of money are you looking to offer him for an orignal, pretty nice condition family heirloom? He hunts with it; it is his only centerfire.

My friend has a Savage 30-30 pump. I assumed it was an old Remington but when he showed me it was a Savage it stuck in my mind. My friend took in a bunch of vintage rimfires in his shop about a month ago. I will check. He got about 20 from the same guy, all from the 1960's.

He has a J.C. Higgins 33 for $190 negotiable.
