I found a couple of these in a local shop (stashed in back). I think they are a little rich for my blood though.

One is a 270(pretty common IIRC), other is a 22-250...scarce?

They are new, still have shipping carton and all.

What seems to be the going price on these? I can't find much info oline.

Price varies with caliber, of course but I see them selling used but excellent condition for $1200-$1400 for standard calibers and $1400-$2100 for big game (375 and up) rifles. There are Colt collectors that might pay a bit more for NIB.

If you buy one to hunt with, be sure to get some polarized shooting glasses so the glare doesn't spoil your vision.

I have been looking to to continue my collection of Colt Sauers. I am not ready to start buying just yet, but would like to know if anyone still has/knows about NIB Sauers anywhere still?
Thank you in advance everyone, I am really enjoying reading the all the information from people that enjoy guns and hunting as much as I do.

I have a Sauer 90, which IMO is a nicer rifle. Prices for any Sauer 80 (marked Colt or otherwise have dropped quite a bit). If you can get $1200 for any of them your lucky today.

I think the market value is about $2000...if you check the guns auctions when they have them on auction they go quite high. I saw a
.25-06 Colt Sauer go for $2600. I have 4 of them...and paid about $2000 average for them last year (NIB).
