Would anyone know the value of a Winchster 1894 "Spruce Gun"?
These guns were sold by Winchester to the U.S. Army in 1917, and issued to troops guarding the Spruce trees in the Pacific Northwest. Spruce trees were used in the production of aircraft. These guns have the U.S. markings and proof stamp on them. 1800 were sold to the Army.

Haven't a clue what they are worth but it makes me realize how much I don't know and how much there is to learn. I've been reading 'gun magazines' since about 1964. Attended my first gunshow in 1975. This is the first time I've ever heard of such 94 Winchesters.

Thank you!
